First Grade is Fabulous

I know I'm jumping a little bit from January to August, but it seriously feels like January was just the other day. I feel SO OLD, because I can't stop saying how time is just FLYING by.

We tried hard to make summer FEEL like summer. It is way to easy for me to work every day, feel tired every night, and need the weekends just to gear up for the next work week. Needless to say, my housework was a little neglected this summer...but our "Summer Fun Lists" were almost completed! (Thanks for the idea, Raim!)

Chase started first grade last week....FIRST GRADE! That means someone else is teaching my baby for SIX hours a day. I don't think we are ready for it. I know I'm not.

Kenzie is crawling crazy, NINE months old, getting six new teeth at once, and pulling herself up to standing EVERYWHERE. Where did my baby go?

Greg is officially an "Engineer-in-Training". What a fiasco it was getting his results! Funny, since he worked for 14 years in an engineering position...now he's in training and had to defend his passing...anyway, he will be taking the PE exam in October. He is studying now before his classes at Sac State start again in a couple weeks. He is seriously SO smart.

January Blahs

January is always a total let down month for me. I prefer to reflect on the fun we've had in the past month rather than focus on the daily routine we've got to somehow get into. Here are some pics...the first one is of my cutest nieces and nephews before our "Tangled" outing and the second is Kenzie all big and bundled up. All of the Christmas ones are still in my camera...maybe I'll get them on here before February!
