F is for Fall

Since spelling is such a huge thing in our house right now (Chase wants to know how to spell everything we talk about...quite a smarty), I thought I would go along with the theme. F is for Fall. We are ready for it...cooler weather, falling leaves, and hot apple cider! F is also for a few other things in our house the past few weeks: FINAL JET-SKIING TRIP, FIELD TRIP, FOOTBALL, & FIRST DAY OF PRESCHOOL. (I always upload the pictures backwards. They actually happened in order from bottom to top. I'm just too lazy to move them around : ) . Here they are:

School, play, & cute things we say

Chase went to his first day of preschool on Tuesday, October 21st. He was a little bit of a late starter because of the potty-training thing, but he's FINALLY ready. (Not that he's perfect with the potty thing yet, but good enough for an hour and fifteen minute preschool!) I'm trying to make certain pictures a tradition, like the first day of school, birthdays, etc. I read somewhere that if you take your child's picture at the same place (leaving the front door) you'll be able to look back through each year and see how they've grown. Also, for birthdays I try to get one of blowing out the candles and one back-t0-back with daddy to see how much bigger he is. He already seems bigger to me because he thinks he's such an independent preschooler...

This is how we work & play at our house! It starts out with a rake and ends an hour later with happy smiles and a bigger leaf mess than what we started out with! You should have seen the pile we had in the backyard...

Two little monkeys jumping on the bed...Chase knows it's his chance for a little trampoline action when I change the sheets on our bed. A couple Fridays ago one of his favorite little friends, Ava, got to join in the fun. Ring around the rosies...
I almost forgot! The normal things we say just come out of a three-year old's mouth cute! Some of my recent faves:
"Dora song is stuck in my head...(while pulling at his ear)...I can't pull it out!"
"Thanks, dinner, Mommy."
After wiping applesauce on his arm, "mustache on my arm!" (Like a milk mustache...)
